Spring

Updated: Sep 4, 2023

The garden is my poetry…this morning, the plants were singing the song of spring and I bathed in it. My body re-energized with the other beautiful conscious beings around me in solidarity. I have been facilitating the emergence of life around me for as long as I can remember, but humanity rarely gave me credit for it. No matter, as my senses receive the sparkling diamonds they have so long desired.

I have surrounded myself with a forcefield of immaculate beauty, because if nothing else I knew the birds, the bees, the flowers, the trees, and the mushrooms would protect me. Humanity, including sometimes my own cognition, terrifies me…here I am, the voice of nature in her purest form. Don’t ask me to give you the genus species of the plants in my garden, I only know them by the warm resonance of their familiar embrace.

All I know how to do is love…I will continue to move music through my veins and recalibrate your heart to the slow rhythm of nature. I encourage you to swim towards yourself, beneath the cracked Earth of your skin into a molten universe. If you reemerge and sprout into a tiny viable being, I will hold you in my arms forever.

“The natural systems exist and there’s nothing we can do to destroy them, we can interrupt them for a short while, but if we do that, we’re going to actually come to a point where we collapse those systems and then what’s in danger is our civilization, not the natural systems. So nature’s not in trouble, human beings are in trouble and if human beings are removed from the equation, nature and the natural evolutionary systems and processes will reassert themselves and there will ultimately be an evolutionary outcome.” -Dr. John D. Liu
